The current works of art were created by my father over the past three decades. My dad is what you might define as a "renaissance man", meaning that painting is just one of his many passions. This small representation of his works showcases the path his art has taken him through. The landscapes are some of the oldest paintings, the metallic and "drag" paintings were done at the turn of this century and finally the mixed media are his most recent experiments.
As an ordained Buddhist priest, he has resided at the Green Gulch Zen Center, north of San Francisco for almost thirty years. Located at the foot of Mount Tamalpias and within the boundaries of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, the area allowed him to ramble over the hills and beaches giving rise to his creative nature.
Most of the art work displayed is not for sale as it comes from a collection I hope to pass onto my daughter. Please let me know if you are interested in any of the paintings.
Thanks for your patronage and your enthusiasm.
